docXConverter is a new application designed to convert the new Word 2007 format, docx into an RTF file so that you can view it on most computers. It works brilliantly and everything is positioned correctly in the exported RTF file.
However, it isn’t free, it will set you back £10 ($20). But, you can use it for 30 days or 20 conversions. Although, I don’t see why you cant just save your file as RTF in the first place, it would be a lot easier. For example, I use Office 2007 at home, but when I do coursework that I need to take into school, I will set the format as Office 2003 format.
