Access your music collection over the internet

I have heard about these services many times, but have never actually looked into them. I came across a new startup featured on TechCrunch, called MediaMaster, which allows you to upload your music from your computer and listen to it anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

You can play your music in a number of ways including through your online account, through the use of a .pls playlist or in a widget on a web page. MediaMaster gets by the legal side by not allowing you to download the file, instead it streams it to you.

The service is free and there is not account size limit at present. Album Art is available so you can easily navigate through your music collection. The whole service is great for accessing your music library, but to be honest I would prefer just to use my MP3 player, a lot easier and much more portable and not dependant on an internet connection.
